WAITER / WAITRESS
Role Description
You are the face of our restaurant.
Your friendliness, efficiency and attention to detail make our customers' experience truly unforgettable.
What you will do:
Welcome customers with a warm smile.
Serve food and drinks with care and attention.
Know the menu and recommend dishes.
Listen to special requests and handle them effectively.
Keep the dining room tidy and pleasant.
Work as part of a team with the rest of the staff.
Contribute to the welcoming atmosphere that defines Lo Zodiaco.
Essential Requirements:
Experience as a waiter/waitress (minimum 1-2 years, or hospitality diploma).
Excellent communication skills.
Courtesy and professionalism.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Physical stamina (the days are long!).
Availability for shifts (dinner service, weekends).
Desirable:
Knowledge of foreign languages (Italian, French, English)
Experience in family-run restaurants.
Positive and proactive attitude.

KITCHEN ASSISTANT / COMMIS CHEF
Role Description
You work alongside the pizza maker and head chef to ensure every dish comes out perfectly — from pizzas to grilled meats.
What you will do:
Prepare ingredients (mise en place).
Assist the head chef across the various stations.
Maintain hygiene and order in the kitchen.
Help with the preparation of meats, fish and side dishes.
.Handle kitchen cleaning duties.
Learn our way of cooking (traditional and authentic).
Support the team during peak service.
Essential Requirements:
Experience as a kitchen assistant (minimum 1-2 years, or hospitality diploma).
Basic knowledge of food hygiene (HACCP).
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Ability to follow instructions and learn quickly.
Physical stamina.
Availability for shifts (lunch, dinner, weekends)
Desirable:
Experience with charcoal grilling.
Knowledge of Italian cuisine.
Positive and proactive attitude.
Passion for cooking
